La Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ha chiesto a tutti i produttori di farmaci antidepressivi di aggiornare il “black box warning” (l’avvertenza riquadrata di nero sulle confezioni, come per i pacchetti di sigarette, ndr), aggiungendo tra gli effetti collaterali il pensiero suicida e comportamento suicida nei giovani tra i 18 e i 24 anni durante la fase iniziale del trattamento farmacologico.
